'Roman Yorkshire' short course

Presented by Dr Robert Wright of PLACE, this 6-week evening course will explore the impact of the Romans on Yorkshire, from the invasion in AD70 and the foundation of York (Eboracum) to the last stages of occupation in the early 5th century. There will be a session on Roman York and a fieldtrip will be arranged to follow the course. The cost is just £25 (£20.00 for retired/unwaged) and the classes will be held in York, at the King's Manor, 7pm-9pm.
