The YAHS Prehistory Research Section is supporting research on the North York Moors, providing funds for two AMS radiocarbon dates. At Esklets on Westerdale Moor, a rare flint stratification within peat blanket offers an opportunity to precisely date Late Mesolithic occupation and flint deposition.
