A Survival Story: Prehistoric Life at Star Carr

  • Posted On: 10 July 2018

With great timing, managed to catch a new exhibition in Cambridge, featuring spectacular finds from the several phases of Star Carr excavations. The most striking are the skull and horn headdresses. Other artifacts amaze just in their quantity and fineness.

There's much more information on the the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology site here.

A Survival Story – Prehistoric Life at Star Carr is on display at the Li Ka Shing Gallery at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Downing Street, Cambridge, from June 21 to December 30, 2019. Entry is free
